He must think we have short memories. Suggesting they didn't bomb ISIL because it might be propping up the Assad regime. They had no intention of attacking ISIL. The plan was to help them (and others) overthrow Assad.

I always thought the Israeli secret intelligence service was called Mossad. There are no flies on Israeli intelligence. Do you think they would give themselves away so blatantly and so foolishly by calling themselves ISIS, which is not even Hebrew ? Israel does absolutely not want to get sucked into a conflict with Assad. They are probably gleefully watching from the sidelines while Assad's regime is pounded by rebels of several different sorts. So long as they keep the Golan heights, Israel will be concerned only to protect its own people.
