In all seriousness. I do find it saddening that this now is rife.I bet a lot of these lads would of been an asset to the Army.
Probably all started when drill pigs were not allowed to shout. When gobby young bucks found themselves educated behind the cookhouse because they thought they could give out the mouth but were'nt happy to get it back.When they learnt that lesson it was known as banter and every one was happy and efficiency ensued as well as comraderie.
We don't know the seriousness and amount of drug taking was involved but I do know that drugs/alcohol are a no no with deadly weapons etc.
May be a spell at Colchester military nick may have shown them the error of their ways and they could of gone on to greater and better things.
I find it very sad but also find it annoying because of interfering liberals who think they know how to run the military better than an RSM.

I was told by a sub mariner that a hollowed out Marrow,brown sugar and Torpedo oil permeating it's way through plus a tot or two of rum made a very potent,illicit brew.
I have a photo of him and others crew members on deck posing around some Bofors guns, and, maybe it's just my imagination, but some of the silly grins on those boy' faces seem somewhat well induced...Or maybe they were just happy to be alive.
