Hamas clearly expresses its anti-Semitic beliefs and goals of Islamic genocide of the Jews. I agree there is an argument for debate but a MP referring to these terrorist organisations as friends makes him sound like an outright supporter of them.

The interviewer has thrown an intentionally provocative question at him to provoke a response and he's fallen for it hook line and sinker. Schoolboy error.

He seems to realise what a fool he's been towards the end of gromit's clip when he calms down and goes all mellow.
