Ladybirder...I will just dust off my crampons and other climbing gear, so I can scale down the cliffs to get some eggs for my tea !
Apparently gulls make their nests on the ground.
No need for heroics Sir Edmund. :-)

//The seagulls lay their eggs in nests right on the ground, but they can still be hard to spot since they are camouflaged to look like rock//

The misuse of the bird's name was noted.
Maybe Mikey can train Wee Willy to eradicate the birds.
Cameron stated that there needed to be a 'big conversation' to deal with the situation. Dear Maggie wouldn't have bothered, she wasn't for terning....
Good one. :-)

I'm assuming your Hove question is a pun/joke, but for the life of me...

Incidentally, anyone interested in visiting Hasting should try the large Italian restaurant right on the beach.

It is (for me) the worst restaurant in the United Kingdom. It's so astonishingly bad, that it's worth a visit, just so you can revel in its crapitude.

But back to seagulls...how come you can always hear them at open air rubbish dumps, despite being miles from the sea?

Yes...Rye is stunning.

It's where the 1980s version of 'Mapp & Lucia' was filmed. I would be quite happy to retire there...
Just had a read through, how bad have you got to be to get a post removed on page 1 about seagulls?
I had to laugh,as usual,to Svejk's response to the removed answer.Good timing. :-)
SP...The reason for the Hove rock enquiry is that there I understood that Hove residents were few up with people asking " Is this Brighton ? " and having to reply, "no, Hove actually" hence the writing inside Hove rock !

The latest BBC version of Mapp and Lucia was also filmed in Rye I understand.
I was going to suggest we start a new game. Guess who had an answer removed and guess, roughly, what it said.
But maybe we should do it on another thread. The 'culprit' on this thread needs all our sympathy and understanding in what must be a particularly difficult period right now.
Please Svejk
I know the answers Svejk. I dooooooooo.

Oh no, seriously?

This is SO wrong.

You can't victimise seagulls for doing what seagulls do.

They are the iconic wildlife of our coastal towns.
these gulls are sneaky.
