Which Uk Country Is The Most Foul-Mouthed On Social Media?
According to Twitter's swearing map (didn't know they had one) it's Wales closely followed by Scotland, then England and bringing up the rear Northern Ireland.
" In a week where people have taken their social media to show anger over the handling of the Welfare Bill, the Welsh have been the most foul-mouthed on social media, swearing more than twice as much as England."

We went into a local pub and met with some hostile stares from the fishermen ?. I thought it strange because we had never received anything other than very warm hospitality from our Irish hosts elsewhere.I made the mistake of bringing my wife into a bar for men only. A very drunken quizzical man joined us and we learned that he was a labourer once on a building site in the mainland and drank in a local pub in the town that I knew . He was going back to Sutton to finalise his divorce, He was a very friendly guy who obviously realised,as drunk as he was, that I had made an unwitting foxes paw by bringing my wife in the bar..Every other word was effing this and effing that. He apologised between effs to my wife for effing swearing in front of a lady. He was a true gentleman and we were very amused and glad we made that visit. My wife and I still effing laugh about that visit with great memories. :-)
Retrocop apart from the fact that I am surprised that someone like Michael Collins might be a hero of yours (or for that matter anyone) I wouldn't have thought that the colourful language of a few dub liners was much of a guide to the twitter etiquette of ulster folk (!)
'People have taken to social media to show anger over the handling of the welfare bill' eh? How depressing :-)
