Yes. Today's one was in Cheshire at a carfest.One report said it was a Folland Gnat single seater jet (as once used by the Red Arrows). Another said it was a "Red Gnat"???? stunt plane.Either way it was probably solo piloted.

Yes it was a Red Gnat stunt plane, they are two seaters, but it is not know yet how many were on-board are if there were any fatalities.

It was at CarFest hosted by Chris Evans, he puts this event on annually for charity (Loros) It was featured on BBC Breakfast yesterday with Carol the weather lady reporting from there. Very sad for pilot's family ........... no news whether he survived yet as it only happened at 2pm.
