Ukip And Katie Holmes
Should UKIP welcome Katie Holmes' overtures?

Or run screaming to the hills?
Tough one...Ms Holmes is a forthright and plain-speaking public figure, but arguably divisive.
Do you think she would be of benefit to UKIP?

Tough one - as UKIP are highly unlikely to be a force in government any time soon if ever they might like the fact that she'd keep them in the news. Even if you hate her she's very interesting to listen to - and I don't think for a second that she actually believes everything she spouts - it's done for effect.

Thanks Baldric.
She looks like the nutter on the bus I sat next to on my way home from the Great British Beer Festival on Friday (v. good this year, BTW). I can't say if she wanted to join UKIP or not (though the entire bus heard about almost every other aspect of her life) but she certainly qualified as a "looney or fruitcake".

Why are ABers constantly deriding UKIP when it would appear they are the one party in this country who truly want out of europe ? I still want to trade with the EU but from the position we were in when we were asked to join the COMMON MARKET & not the present position that Europe wants for us to belong to, THE UNITED STATES OF EUROPE ( U.S.E). I want to be governed from Westminster by my elected MPs NOT some foreign shower that neither I or any other UK resident as voted for, so basically as I see it our only chance to regain what we once proudly had is to support UKIP ( David Cameron will promise anything to stay at No 10, I do not believe anything that comes from (S)Toryland).
