Interesting perspective from the writer, advising that Chilcot cannot 'give the people what they want'.
What the people want is an honest and detailed appraisal without fear or favour of how this country was marched into an unwinnable war without an end-plan, or proper plan for what it was going to do when it got to the front.
That is what Chilcot is being paid for - I fail to see why it is beyond his grasp to deliver it.
