Oh dear, I was trawling through the Guardian's web-site looking for the story regarding that Mentally ill Black lad who was given such a harsh sentence for merely shop lifting, when I came across this gem.

Harsh, TWR. It's a tiny minority that use the race card. Not once in my life have I felt the need to watch what I say in front of anyone, regardless of race.

Until such times as they don't demand special treatment, and until such times as they accept that they belong to this country and not one which is thousands of miles away and which they have most likely never visited.

Really I find that very hard to believe, you must choose your words very carefully, or are completely aware of each and every word or saying, that is currently listed in the 'Great Politically Correct Dictionary' taking in mind of course that this is edited almost on an hourly basis.

I suppose this isn't pandering to the minority is it?
Several years ago the London Fire Brigade and Metropolitan Police were recruiting exclusively for Black and Female recruits. White men were denied application to both services at this time. That is Fact. My younger fit ,healthy son with a clean record was denied a chance to join both services.
The reasons given ,at the time,was to level the playing field and so Black/Asian officers would be better able to work with those of their own culture. If Blacks/Asians are an ethnic minority in this country then it is the culture of the majority in this country that should be accepted by ALL who reside here without fear or favour and recruits should not be solely engaged to deal with "special " people. There are no special people in this country.
If I am trapped in a burning building I don't give a rats what colour Sam is or indeed Samantha aslong as they get me out..
That IMO is pandering to the ethnic minority races.

I do not appreciate being called a liar. If it is not true then why have parts of Birmingham, Bradford & many other places in Britain had certain areas taken over by foreign immigrants ? If these are people who wish to become part of our society they would amalgamate & join in with the rest of us & become British. No it is plain to see that there are communities who come here, stick together & want to change the rest of Britain to be exactly like the countries they have left behind. If they wish to do this I cannot understand why they come here in the first place.

Trying to get through the Egos to the original Question....... I would think what she is describing is like going back to your home town or even country where you feel you belong. As soon as I get into Montreal and hear Quebecois I feel at home as if I'm not defined by my accent. She will be the same. Of course its not racist

You will have read the British Papers? we dare not say anything that will upset Asian, but the other way around is different, why should we, the People that was conceived, born in the UK have to watch our words to please people that are welcomed here but some like to cause problems, as said I have worked with African's, Indians, but who shouts the most? the Country alongside India, I understand the Indian population can not stand these people & that has come from the person's I have worked with, they come with the same old crp, Integration, Integration, if they wanted to integrate we would not have the trouble in some of our rat infested City's, have you read the UK papers Re/ Oldham / Oxford / Rotherham / & a few more, If these acts were carried out by the whites all hell would be let loose here.

Re the tale you told earlier.

Your local drunk was out of order and I should imagine all the cabbies are well fed up of him , but the taxi driver should not have responded and simply never picked him up in the first place.


I was unlucky enough to share a cab with a guy who constantly yelled 'Faster Abdul ,faster this ain't a*** camel you know' - I tried to silence him to no avail.

The driver refused the money for the fare having kept silent throughout - simply said 'please ask the book never to send me to you again'.

Mam, I once del a Grass cutting machine to Sheffield C.C. the foreman was from P I later found out, I did not understand what the bloke was on about & asked him to speak English, This was after he had been giving me some stick, & believe me he give me plenty, when I returned for the next load for the same place, I was told that this muppet had reported me for what I had said to him, that's one story, there's plenty more.
