Why has the Gay community turned into bullies?

Ironically they have been delivered from this sort of thing themselves, now they make a "sport" of picking on people that don't embrace their lifestyle as enthusiastically as they think they should. It's going to take time for all the officials to come to terms with new rules etc, why go around trying to find people to bully?

Bullies. Imagine going about the place deliberately making people's lives a misery, just because the law is on your side. Why would anyone want to force a clergyman/ official to, grudgingly, marry you? Doesn't sound like a very joyous occasion to me.

Well, that is daft, because she is discriminating...against anybody that wants to get married !
I don't really understand the Christian nutters on this issue. In the western world, less and less people are getting married these days. When I was young in the 60's, it was looked on with shock and disapproval if you lived together, and had children out of wedlock. Indeed, there was a special word for children born that way.
So you would have thought the Churches would be welcoming people who wanted to get married, instead living together !

Not sure the churches are involved in this ceremony. Isn't this known as a civil ceremony i.e one that is not sanctioned by the church and one that this lady would normally officiate at (similar to a registrars office in the UK)?
Mikey. BTW. I didn't bother responding to the post about Atheists today but I was born C of E so that makes me a Christian I guess. I am not a nutter because of my views which I normally keep to myself and do not push down the throat of others so I object to your phrase "Christian nutters" :-(
