I have often seen posts on here by people openly dispising the entire religion and everyone of its followers. Does an event such as this, where innocent muslims face great suffering, make any of you step back and reassess your antaganism to ordinary muslims?
I just posted this on the other thread about this

My perception of Muslims and any other religion / race / creed is that there are good and bad people in all. Some of the good become brainwashed to be bad and a few of the bad 'see the light' and become good (or at least less bad). The mosque tragedy makes not one iota of difference to this, for me.

/// AOG,
So is it fair to assume you think there are 107 less potential terrorists in the world this morning? All muslims ARE potential terrorists, Right? ///
I don't know why you picked on me personally, but is there any proof that your own perception of what I think, could not be correct?
That is until you can provide us all with definite proof that among those victims, there were no potential terrorists.

Why should this tragedy change our views of Islam and muslim people? Did the mega-tsunami change our views of the people of any particular religion? Did the collapse of the clothing factory in India change our views of Hindu people? I don't see why any natural or man-made tragedy should change our views of the victims, either in a negative or a positive way.
thx eddie I have been posting that Muslims believe in strong predestination for some time which kinda goes against free will
thing is why dont they all sit down in a heap and say
allah will feed me ?

considering the view is that these deaths would have happened anyway,
does it change your view of a religion that has such a faialistic attitude and presumably a care-free attitude to elf and safety ?
Yeah actually I am not sure I would want a devout muslim in charge of risk mgt in my work place
