Question Author
Let me try to explain to those who appear to be deliberately confrontational over all this.
Mamyalynne was the only one who actually answered the question when she put, "Yes you did - on the video, the silly lady who had put her feet on the seat".
But apart from that if anyone else bothered to watch the video or read the article they would not have failed to notice this:
*** The film shows the debate began after a Muslim man approached Ms Butler and said: 'I cannot sit there. I cannot pray with my clothes on, OK? And I travel every day.’ ***
Yes the woman was wrong in the first place for putting her feet on the seat, something which incidentally very much annoys even myself.
But even if the woman had removed her feet at the request of that person, (which most likely she would have done, since there is no evidence that she refused to do so), it is what the person said, the reason why he could not sit there now, and the fact that he said she should go to prison.
Then the Lady's factual reply, "this is not a Muslim country".
Anyone care to deny that fact?
No I thought not, but it is fast getting there.
