Yes I feel compassion for these people, I also feel compassion for our own people that's fallen on hard times due to no fault of their own, for the people that's by no fault of their own had to give up their houses because of the Bedroom tax, I feel for the lads that's lost limbs fighting other country's wars, then come back here to the Country where they have paid...

According to Zeit Online, a few minutes ago, the German government will reintroduce border controls. Chancellor Merkel told Austrian chancellor Faymann that measures will be taken to react to increasing numbers of refugees. The German government has stopped rail traffic from and to Austria. At 1730 an explanation for this is expected from German Home Secretary Thomas de Maiziere.

I know, bet we will. These idiots holding up placards saying 'refugees welcome' I would like to shove them where the sun don't shine.
I live in the city of London but regularly travel to East London where my partner's family live. It's so over populated with immigrants it's frightening.
I think these luvvies holding out the welcome cards don't live in the vastly populated areas.

Sorry I have no time for immigrants illegal or otherwise.
18 years ago, my nephew who was 16 at the time, was coming home from college when he was set upon by a group of Asian youths in East London, trying to get away from them as he was punched so hard by one of them, he ran in the road and was hit by two cars. My sister held her dying son in the road until he took his last breath. He was just 5 minutes from home.
The Police caught the lad who punched him and guess what he was an illegal immigrant who had only been in the country for 3 months. He was charged but was out in less than 3 years, whereas my sister and our family serve a life sentence.
Pardon me for not sympathising with immigrants.

/// In his statement, Mr de Maiziere called on other EU countries to "abide by the rules" which stipulate that refugees must apply for asylum in the country where they first arrive, saying that refugees could "not choose" their host countries in the EU. ///
What's happened to "Germany Welcomes Refugees"?
/// Mr de Maiziere called on other EU countries to "abide by the rules" ///
That's rich coming from a country which over the past week has broken certain EU rules.
