I have said for years that the immigration problem Europe has will end in civil war in some countries.

While I did not expect it to come from the refugee crisis we do seem to be getting towards civil unrest in some parts of Europe.

Hungary is now treating these refugees like criminals. In fact, they have now passed laws that wouldn't have looked out of place in WW2.

If these refugees want to travel on to Germany, and Scandinavia, why don't the Hungarians show them some common humanitarian decency, and let them proceed on their travels ? The Hungarians are making these problems by their own pigheadedness. Its just good old racism and xenophobia.

Mikey the migrants are free to register as asylum seekers when they land in Turkey or Greece. The reason Hungary won't let them in is that if Germany closes the border they will be lumbered with them, so they are trying to force Serbia to deal with the situation that it is creating by letting them enter Serbia. Asylum seakers are supposed to register in the first country in which after leaving the country in which they are at risk. They don't do this because Germany looks like a more comfortable berth.

Each nation has the right to secure their borders. If one tries to force one's way in then water and tear gas is a perfectly reasonable response. Those trying to force entry should think of the children they are putting into risky situations, and instead return to where they should have stayed. Not every country caves in to force. Only those with weak inadequate leaders.

When Thatcher closed the mines she believed that industry would move to these places as there would be many workers. More importantly people would move to where there was industry. Isn't it as simple as that just on a global scale.
