If you are going to be 'funny', you need to get your facts right.

The club in question whose initiation was rumoured to involve interface with a (dead) pig's head is the Piers Gaveston Club, not the Bullingdon.

The former is highly secret, the latter is quite sedate, and not secretive at all.

It was a weak idea, which fell short of humour because the police refused to play along.
