I know you can't judge people by appearances, but why is it that not one of the people supporting this party look and sound like people you would want to spend above thirty seconds with?

But "Britain First" is now the most supported political Party on Facebook. On my Facebook account, I get their racist slogans repeated in posts from people
who should know better.
I have suggested to those people, all friends and/or acquaintances of my mine, that perhaps it might be better if they researched BF, before posting on their crap. Some have admitted that they were not aware of how far-right and racist that BF were, and have stopped supporting them.
But some haven't and if they continue, I "un-friend" them.

Mikey; To be purely anti Islam is reprehensible, but if a party was anti Islamic- Fascism I would sign up like a shot. I really would like as many people as possible to watch this talk by a brave and intelligent man, which I have posted on another thread. To anyone wanting to know what is really going on, please watch it.
Saw a programme a while ago (possibly Channel 4), where a group of similar people went to a mosque to protest when one of the radicals was preaching.
The leader of a group of equally racist Muslims said "Your children will be Muslim, your sons will be Muslim, your daughters will be Muslim and you....." This was the point where he drew a finger across his neck to indicate getting their throats slashed.

Abdel Samad neither looks nor sounds like a thug. However, he preaches the wrong message, and so will be automatically classified as a moral retard by the bigots. Therefore Khandro is wasting his time posting the link.
Also Samad's presentation and the Q&A session which follows it lasts an hour and a half; I think they go cold turkey if they don't moralise at least every five minutes.

I know that this is news section and supposed to be serious. But thinking of the BNP/EDL etc etc always remind me of this story from a couple of years back.

The first part of your statement is very true but I would give most people more than 30 secs to form a judgment. I have personally encountered people like Jayda Fransen, Gerry Adams and both are very articulate and have outstanding communication skills even if you don't agree with their brand of politics.

And this from someone who has recently criticised other posters for forming opinions based on appearance???
dieseldick....I would defend your right to support any Party that you wish to.
But if you say that you used to support the National Front and that was when you were "very young and stupid and didn't understand a lot going on around me in the world" and that you now support "Britain First" it would seem to me that you really haven't travelled very far in the last 25 years.

The party was founded by Jim Dowson, an anti-abortion campaigner linked to loyalist militants in Belfast.
If that wasn't bad enough, in May 2014, Britain First announced that it would be deploying "hundreds of ex-British Forces" alongside "several armoured ex-army Land Rovers" to protect the UKIP leader Nigel Farage after he had been opposed on the street by supporters of Scottish independence. God knows I am hardly Farage's biggest fan, but quite what the poor man has done to deserve the tender mercies of "Britain First" I am not sure !
As if British Jews don't have enough trouble as it is, in 2015, Britain First offered "solidarity patrols" in areas of London with high Jewish populations while blaming anti-Semitism on Islam. The Community Security Trust, an organisation against anti-Semitism, has warned Jews not to become involved with Britain First, and has likened this policy to similar ones by the English Defence League and the BNP, saying that all of these groups were opposing Muslims more than supporting Jews.
This is the organisation that you say you support. Perhaps you should take a large breath and think again.
