So there has to be a reason this is happening and is allowed to happen. Part of me thinks that the economic collapse may be soon which can be seen by falling oil prices and Greece etc.
So how would the government keep in control after it collapses as you can look at the example of what happened in iceland. Well there is one way to keep control and that is mass immigration and a small mini civil war that will start. I say small but it will be total massacres to start which will be slowly stopped by the government.
So this is one option I can think of. I really can not think of any other way.
I personally believe the world us for everyone but obviously we don't want to be living next to people where killings and rapes are normal.

Predicting the future is notoriously difficult. Try not to be too pessimistic. Every change promotes apocalyptic visions if you let it.
Your a cheerful soul aren't you
Yes not a very cheerful outlook I admit, but these are the real concerns on the minds of many, it is no good sweeping them under the carpet hoping for them to go away.
Not saying you're wrong, ukanon., in fact it is a logical scenario. But I'm guessing that you've had a couple of bad days and imbibed too much news.

Economic collapse is very, very possible - the whole 'recovery' is based on an optimistic 'debt bubble' as far as I can see. In that case would anyone want to immigrate though? Certainly uncontrolled immigration would bring about civil wars, but I can't see even the nuttiest government using it as a deliberate tool for control - look at the problems they'd be left with!
But haven't we had all these concerns before - probably many times and the world has kept on turning
I am reminded of a conversation I had with a colleague earlier today about Ebola and the (supposed) threat to us in the country - bit like bird flu really
There have been times in the past when I have stopped listening to the news for days on end just because it was potentially so frightening. I remember the Cuban crisis when I was young, now that was a near thing.

So was Ebola, even if some don't think so!
Always easy to take on a smug attitude after the event.

Actually I have spent a few days not working on YouTube. That explains it then ;)
But still possible
Not smug, AOG, I was terrified at the time, but in the event it didn't happen and so I learned to expect the worst and hope for the best. In no way am I sure that we'll avoid Armageddon indefinitely, so I do look for the worst outcome and try to avoid it.
