I would have thought that quite a few decent people might be offended by the "pigheadedness". People who don't like infantile and smutty references to something that may have never happened. But what these loony lefties do best, is remind all sensible people why they didn't vote "left" in the last election and are unlikely to do so in the next.

/// I like your twin strategy here AOG, you give several links to muslims being offended by pigs while maintaining the 'some who might be offended' was not actually refering to muslims. ///

I will repeat it once again,it was you who brought Muslims into the debate.

And my links where in answer to your incorrect statement;

/// Muslims are not offended by pigs, they are offended by eating pigs. ///
Why did you not clarify it immediately?

I still did not mention Muslims.
You seem to be avoiding answering who the 'some who might be offended' are. And why it is not 'right on' to offend them?
Like everyone else, I'm a little confused now.

These are the following whom you might be referring to:

1. Muslims
2. Kermit the Frog
3. Vegetarians
4. Samantha Cameron

Could you please confirm which from this list it is.

If there is another demographic I've missed, please let me know..

Boris Johnson called the Anti-austerity protesters "a mob of assorted crusties with nose-rings".

Hey steady on Boris, we all know that 'sheep' don't wear nose rings.
I quite like what (the Conservative) Matthew Parris said about these protests:
The lefties love them of course, but it also suits the Tories to see themselves as beseiged by a bunch of "lefty loonies"
So everyone's happy :-)

There is a lot of discontent out there, though, and while not condoning nonsense like this, the Tories need to be mindful that their mandate is perhaps not quite as sure as some seem to think.
And it all helps to divert attention away from the fact that Family Credit will soon be reduced. So decent hard-working families will be out of pocket directly as a consequence of the actions of a government that claims to be the only party to truly represent them.

Thanks for that Gromit, if anyone knows about lamb's weaning rings it had got to be you.

But I was talking about 'grown-up sheep', but eh! wait a minute???????????????
why would you call these protesters sheep?, they don't look terribly mainstream to me.
The pejorative 'sheep' usually means those who passively follow something and who blindly believe what they are told.
Quite the opposite to the protestors, who seem not content with the status quo and who are making a noise about it.
Have you got your ticket for Dreadzone at the Academy?
Randy Marsh,
I have.
So do i.

Oh! So they were all sitting in their individual homes thinking I'm getting rather fed up with what's going off, I think I will don my coat and go down to the Tory party conference in Manchester so as to voice my concerns?

Oh look another 85,000 in a similar frame of mind, now isn't that a coincident?
sheep don't coordinate AOG.
TCL, whenever there exists a stick-grasping situation, you can virtually guarantee that Anotheoldgit will be found holding the wrong end of it!
Oh dear, the thread of the disgruntled!
