I expect it will be George.
Morning mikey...........long time 5 years.
Tories never pick the favourite.
I doubt very much that it will be Boris.....

For me......Priti Patel.......I fancy her rotten.

Seriously,...Philip Hammond.....a safe pair of hands....quite, unflappable and always in the background.
Perhaps a Jim Hacker will emerge.
Osborne or May.
Boris is something of a popular clown, he's fine bumbling around London, would probably fit in nicely in Europe but I imagine the joke would get old fast if he was PM.
Hammond's a bigger liar than Cameron.
So you could be right, sqad. ;)
After her speech on immigration which upset the media, not just the BBC but ITV also, I will go for Theresa May.
Svejk.......LOL......if you are going to tell a lie........tell a BIG ONE.
Boris plays the clown Iggy, but he far from it.

I suspect he could attract more floating voters than the others, which may be the attraction to the Tory members.

Morning Sqad !...yes, she is rather dishy !

If I recall the Yes Minister scripts correctly, Jim Hacker was elected Leader precisely because he wasn't someone else....ie.. ...anybody but a certain other candidate, and the Tories have already had one of those. Major was elected because wasn't Heseltine ! Medium tern solution but a long term disaster.

May always looks so cross all the time ! I had a Teacher like her when I was in primary school, and she always scared me to death ! I still reckon on Boris !
I have said this many times before, but beneath that thatch of carefully-ruffled hair, lies a very astute mind. He is sharp as a tack, despite all his clowning around. I am far from being a Tory voter, but I wouldn't mind betting that Boris would be a great bloke to spend an evening or two in the Pub with !

Hammond always looks as though he's been sprinkled with dust...no chance as leader!
IDS?

Been there, done that.

Too quiet.
Question Author
Hoppy....IDS bolloxed it up years ago......Anyway, nobody likes him...even in his own Party !
I wasn't suggesting IDS, Mikey.

The dog from Neighbours did.
Bojo or Tezza but it really doesn't matter, whoever it is will kick Jezza's aris.
I no longer think it will be Boris. He needed the Tories to lose the election and dump Cameton in May. As that didn't happen, I think he will fade in the next 5 years. Probably Theresa May.

Fade ?

Shine on you crazy diamond !
Boris is in the box seat at the moment. But if Nicky Morgan performs well over the next couple of years she may have a chance. She has been likened to Joyce Grenfell, which may not harm her chances. Haha.
The fact that a Labour voter like Mikey has positive feelings about Boris is probably the reason it should be him.
