Many of them are Africans, not Syrians.

Their attitude and behaviour suggests that they are economic migrants.

Easy test - if they have passports or papers, they may be genuine.

If they haven't, it's likely they have destroyed them to avoid being sent back.

What do you think will happen when the would be migrants start turning up with firearms. We already have reports that some are armed in the UK. Their next logical step is that they decide to storm the facility like the invasion that they truly are.

If troops have to be used to disperse this lot then I would sooner they asked Mr Putin for a few platoons.

Retrocop - we don't need Mr Putin's lot - the French CRS are excellent at dealing with rabble of this kind. Remember the student riots of the sixties.
The CRS will crack heads and anything else that requires people to learn to behave.

president hollande doesn't want these people in france, and therefore has no incentive to stop them storming the tunnel, or the ferries, or the trucks, or any other transport mode that might mean they become someone else's problem.
