There was a rumour in 2012, that if Mitt Romney had chosen Palin as his running mate, and they had actually won, and Romney had subsequently died in office, the Secret Services's standing orders were to shoot Palin.

I can't see the Republicans choosing Trump, he is too divisive. I don't think Palin is in the running.
