Sadly, I think this better reflects 'Loyalist' opinion of foreigners. That the victim of this cowardly attack is a nurse working in our beleaguered health service wouldn't have give the petrol bomber a moments concern.

Neither are a good reflection sandy
Shame? That's quite a strong word although you're right to say that a lot of people are very concerned about immigration levels. Do you mean it's a shame the way politicians consistently ignore those concerns?
By the way, why would anyone 'stand with Turkey'?

I was wondering whether that shameful fact that some people got together to protest about the resettlement of war refugees - particularly under the banner of so-called "Loyalism" was sufficiently counterbalanced by NI's political leaders, especially Peter Robinson, uniting to condemn it
Why do you think it shameful that people, on whom immigration has a negative effect, protest against it?
And I have to ask again, why do you 'stand' with the IS supporting Turkey?

I do not wish this to turn into a pointless slanging match (especially about something that has nothing to do with the question).
You have made your point and I have made mine. I would invite you to look at the website of Protestant Coalition, or their Facebook page. Though I daresay that won't really do much good...
There's no slanging match involved. I asked you a very pertinent question that you have chosen not to answer.
Why should people ,who don't share your obvious love of immigration, be branded as shaming.

I heard you the first time :-)
There are people who have understandable concerns about immigration but they don't necessarily go on "anti refugee" marches
