I tried several times before the vote and several times after the vote to search the web for an answer to that question to no avail.

Does ANYBODY know ?

To me the principle of 'a free vote' in such matters of personal conscience is crucial, and the fact of a possible hypocritical witch-hunt by
the multitude who hounded Labour over the question of Corbyn allowing a free vote OR not, and whether the other parties allowed a free vote OR not shows how biased the MSM may be.

Born n raised old-school Labour, I despair of the current state of the Labour Party, which in its current mainstream form was Thatcher's greatest triumph. ie they aren't socialists.
Jeremy Corbyn is a socialist and doesn't believe in dictating his views to his party members, instead crediting them with the intelligence and ethics to vote as they need to.
Which sadly means he might not make it long past Christmas.
