Why is the UK, and the BBC, so rapidly and willingly handing itself over to Islam? I give it 20 years and Sharia will rule. We can all see it happening but no-one is allowed to say or do anything about it. Such is the hold they already have. This nation has well and truly had it. There's no going back now.

I don't think this story is indicative of a push to Sharia Law.

I'm not denying it happened - I'm just saying that I genuinely don't see Sharia Law becoming the law of the land based on the actions of these three scumbags.

I'm assuming that you don't believe Sharia Law will be enacted, at least in the timescales suggested in the OP?

My lady doctor is Muslim, she is certainly no second class citizen.

Things are being done to improve the lot of women. We have refuges including one set up by St Mungos, helplines such as the Muslim Women's Helpline and Enfield Muslim Women's Aid for Muslim women who are suffering from domestic abuse.

Some Muslim girls are having their passports removed by the authorities where they believe those girls are in danger of being taken abroad for FGM.

We have Muslim policewomen, teachers, doctors, nurses, office workers, even soldiers in the British Army.

Something else that puzzles me is the way sp1814 got het up about Tyson Fury the other day, yet never seems to do so over Islamic schools attitude towards gays.

There has been many stories of homophobic teachings within these schools.
