Mother Tersea - Confused
The catholic church has said Mother Teresa has had a second miracle attributed to her.
http:// www.bbc .co.uk/ news/wo rld-asi a-india -351294 63
The Vatican said "The miracle involved the healing of a Brazilian man with several brain tumours in 2008"
Mother Teresa died in 1997, nine years before that.
How can this be attributed to Mother Teresa?
Is this modern day and age I am staggered that people still believe in this sort of thing.
Surely it is no better than "witchcraft".
And it staggers me that MORE people follow the catholic church rather than less, even with the churches controversial history and modern day abuse of children by priests.
I suppose it shows how many gullible people there are in the world.

When you have an injury that heals without the need for medical treatment, it doesn't make it a miracle.
You may choose to believe in this dead nun healing someone, which is of course, your choice. But the majority of comments on this thread appear to range from sceptical to taking the Mickey.
I personally, choose to live in the real world, where what can be proved can be believed.

But I want to know why this God that folk believe in picks and chooses, Bigbad.
How can people believe in his goodness yet accept the he will cure some and not others?
If he and this nasty, deceased nun can cure at all they they can surely cure all.....if not.....why not?
What did the Brazilian do to warrant this miracle? Other than be a peg to hang the second miracle on.

tamborine, // Naomi, the OP link explains the patients experience. //
It explains nothing, but it does report the patient’s supposition. You will note that his identity has not been disclosed, therefore this ‘patient’ remains anonymous. That’s handy. No awkward questions there then, so the church that had every intention of eventually endowing Mother Teresa with ‘sainthood’ is able to fulfil its ambition without opposition. There is no evidence whatsoever that this ‘patient’ even exists. Why people continue to fall for this is quite beyond me. A complete farce!
