Granted sandy, but killing someone with a pistol in a covert operation on the streets of UK is a far cry from a 15 mile patrol/advance-to-contact with full kit, bergen and rifle/LMG over arduous terrain.

P's Females are not the same as males in all things. They have a uterus and can be put to work producing more brainwashed soldiers for the current manifestation of superstition-driven primordialism. I still believe it would be a mistake to deploy female combat troops against IS and AQ. Any other enemy fair enough but not against them.

Surely we must agree that there is a case for the British Ministry Of Defence to ensure that female soldiers are not put at risk of being deployed against an enemy that will use them in what we might euphemistically describe as divergent gender specific rolls if they became prisoners.
