Nice to see this illegal migrant helping out with our already vast overseas aid, by sending much of his benefit money back to his brother in South Sudan.

/// Mr Said, who has been granted refugee status, said: ‘I’m very happy here. My wife wants to come. I told her I’m liking England and I told her it is safe. I told her you will find safety here in England, assistance and treatment, education and all human rights and all those around you will love you.’ ///

I wouldn't be too sure of that Mr Said.

I thought the same about nine hours ago but no he popped up on a more placid thread of his own.
Even he was too timid to enter this one. Still it provided some entertainment and we witnessed the breaking point of saints without outside interference.
I personally find the "breaking point of a of saint" an abomination and if you are proud of yourselves for it, then you disgust me even more.
The yes racist and yes xenophobic bent of this website does it no favours at all.
I can only hope the rest of the world seeing this knows that is not how most Brits think.
Call me a lentil munching lefty liberal if you must, I don't care, but you? You appal and revolt me if you are so hard hearted that you would let people die before helping them.
You are a shallow wreck of a human being if you think that way and I have no time for you, you worthless shell of skin...IMO!

What are you babbling on about Mr Pra I know very well what a Moron is?

I suppose you would care to find out on this OP where I have advocated that people be left to die before helping them. I have written or thought no such thing and I believe an apology is in order .
Then you can climb back into your pram if sober enough to do so.
.

As for the use of the phrase "breaking point of a saint" it is a common phrase and is also used with "the patience of a saint".

Well one can't break Site Rules more than that can one?

Mr Quiz, what will you personally be doing to help those British people who will be sleeping out in the cold over the festive period and beyond?

You may care to note that on none of my four short posts on this OP have I resorted to the vile name calling that you have just done. I have been suspended for less than what you have said.
Bear that in mind.!!!
I must say, I avoided posting when the thread was in full flight and the vitriol was flowing. But it is of course a disgrace that this man sends our money to his brother,(not his wife mind). His brother should be here claiming his own entitlements. How much encouragement does he need? The virtue signallers will not be pleased with me.

That is a new word/phrase I learnt for the first time yesterday from the newspaper. When I read what it meant I could name quite a few on here. :-)
Apparently it is in Collins Dictionary now.
The last time I used it retro I was in the sin bin for a week.

"What are you babbling on about Mr Pra I know very well what a Moron is?"

That's my whole point, I suggested that YMB made an "oxymoron", that doesn't mean I was calling him a moron ...you big silly!
The fact that this chap has been granted asylum disproves any thought that he was only an economic migrant.
We should be proud of the people who rescued him.
It might prove the lunatics are running the asylum process though.
No one is denegrating the Senior Service for saving life at sea. It is how he illegally entered the UK is worrying and them getting asylum granted

Could you explain how and why the tribal conflicts in South Sudan qualifies an individual for refugee status in the UK, and gives the privilege of free accommodation, (when there are young British people are without a home), and provides sufficient funding that some money, paid for by working taxpayers, can be exported back to relatives in Sudan?
Does this mean that any Sudanese of any tribal ethnicity has similar entitlement?
I've a suspicion that the people in Lunar House are far more cold hearted than me. If they approved his application for sanctuary then he must have a good case.
The fact that he sends a remittance to a brother from his own small allowance shows how desperate things must be for people there in Africa.
