^^ Good point steg. It is more like 80% if you take the % of population into account. Let us be honest it is barely possible that a non Muslim would get to know such 'inside' information.

I would also take a bet that the 10% that came from the Muslim population was by far the most helpful,significant and relevant.

Not a very appropriate comparison. The “Prevent” programme was set up to prevent radicalisation. About 99.9% of terrorist atrocities are currently perpetrated by Muslims. The “radicalisation” referred to is Muslim radicalisation. Since such radicalisation is hardly likely to take place in pubs, clubs, bars and cathedrals 10% is not all that good.

I forgot to comment on the boycott. The same situation prevails within the Muslim community as prevails within the Black community in places such as Tottenham. Those communities simply do not trust any of the State authorities but most notably the police and security services. Thus it will ever be.

I've always been of the opinion that for the majority of Muslims the mindset is:

I don't mind or care in what passive or adversely heinous manner you praise Allah.....just as long as you do.

I am not - I was asked to do this course by a variety of people including arabic speakers and raised various point on the course at the end - egged on by various minorities as I am a pink anglo saxon

and was told by the " facilitators" that they had no control over the content and were only there to present the material ( as Gospel truth actually )

and there was no one I could write to

[ I mean parts of the course were crop - madder than some of the really stupid things you read on AB threads ]
