These investigations into Cosby seems to have been going on for years. Not sure why it has taken so long to come to the point when an actual formal charge has been made.

My wife is adamant that she would never accept a financial settlement if she were in that position. She would want to see the man sentenced by the court because accepting cash after the event would make it a late payment to a prostitute.

But she's not a prostitute and she wouldn't suddenly become one for accepting a settlement.
