What a relief. When I dropped it, it went 'haywire' altogether and none of the buttons had any effect on it. I couldn't even switch it off. Took the battery out, put it back in and amazingly it started up again perfectly. In fact, so far, it's working better than before I dropped it. Sorry for going, so violently, off topic. ;)
