Just spat my cuppa out - bad boy!!
I can only watch international cricket and only if we are wining.

So don't often watch it!
well, Stokes showed them how to pull and hook during his splendiferous innings.

I believe this is not the first time Gayle has made such remarks.....if it had been, then it would have been excessive. However, it's probably reasonably fair for the salary he pulled in.

I see Broad got docked 30% of his match fee for twice telling the umpire to 'get on with the game' - given that is probably akin to what Gayle got done for financially, this is unfair in my book.....

More silly trendy nonsense. She's probably in the wrong job talking to high-profile adrenalin charged athletes or just a racist //

No...she's a woman trying to do her job in a professional manner. There's time and place for everything, and this cricketeer...and a lot of other men going by this thread...seem to have trouble grasping that.
adrenalin charged athletes

For Funks Sake he is a cricketer (and past his sell-by date at that)
Must remember not to ask any women for a date because they might find it 'demeaning and insulting'. Thank god he wasn't muslim...rape first then date..and perhaps if the girl is lucky....marriage.
jomifl you can ask anyone for a date but it must be appropriate!!
She's a TV interviewer, these things happen in some jobs.

I don't know anything about him but I no doubt he was on high on top of the world "quizzed by Mel McLaughlin after smashing 41 runs in 15 balls for Melbourne Renegades during a Big Bash League Twenty20 match in ." Get it?
How is it insulting to be told you're attractive, and to be asked to go for a drink?
I accept he shouldn't have done it during a tv interview, but it's not "demeaning and insulting", IMO.
Cloverjo...if the guy has a reputation as a sleezebag there nothing complimentary about it.

It's insulting because she is stood infront of him in her capacity as a cricket correspondent and not a potential conquest.

Does anyone know what century Orderlimit is living in?
Agree Talbot...it certainly showed a lack of respect of her and the job she had to do by him.

Ok, you're rumbled me. Born 610 AD, 7th Century
Orderlimit.......then you should find out about him before defending this behaviour.......

Being asked for a date isn't insulting or demeaning.......being propositioned by someone with his sleazy reputation during an interview is demeaning and insulting......
He wasn't complimenting her......he was living up to his reputation.....and that's not a compliment.
Do you know....it's staggering that some men think a woman should be flattered to be asked out.............even by such a sleaze.......☺
once is ok
not per person

but obviously it is day after day and in the end his colleague let him take the fall ( that would come )
I'm judging the 'incident' not the individual Gness. Not saying I'm right, just my view on it.

Female cops, as an example, get these sorts of comments all the time should they all be banged in court and convicted, especially if the guy has previous for being a sleaze?

And I get it every day :)
