Reshuffle Woes for Jezza, how can they fight the Tories when they keep fighting themselves. Even I'm getting embarrassed by this turkey shoot.

they will - just like in ireland, the neverendum will keep going until the SNP-dominated scottish parliament gets the "right answer".
but, actually there will be a good reason for one if the "Brexit" vote calls for the UK to leave the EU. it's unlikely an independent Scotland would vote for an exit, so an independence vote will then be required.

TTT, I wasn't suggesting that no Tories were elected outside England, but just that they were about as rare as hens' teeth! About a dozen or so out of some 120.
Also, it's just not true to suggest that Scotland has "never been Tory". I'm old enough to remember the days when they frequently rivalled or defeated Labour in Scotland. The MP for the constituency in which I was born in the 1930s was Bob Boothby, for example, a man from the very heart of Conservatism!
