Not with our weak government. I doubt it. Nothing sinister in Denmark's proposal. It is not like Nazis invading countries and confiscating jewish property.
It is the Danes who are being invaded and they are only applying a law that their own citizens have to abide by.

I am sure the Danes do have equally finite resources but we somehow manage to display our largesse to the world when it comes to immigrants. Bet the Danes don't have their ex servicemen/woman sleeping in Cardboard boxes in a subway though. :-(

I just can't understand us in this country, other countries tell their immigrants what to do and how it should be done, whereas we do the complete opposite.

I have just had a visit from my niece and her husband who emigrated to Spain some years ago, and I asked them if they had any problems with those migrant coming into Spain from North Africa.

They told me that they just send them back, and those that aren't sent back, the Spanish just makes it so hard for them with sheer bureaucracy, in so much that they need this documentation or that documentation, and applying for such is not easy because if they require a translator they just have to provide one for themselves.

No bending backwards to please for the Spanish.

I am sure our Prime Ministers and their governments have never read the fine print on the terms of joining the EU all those years ago.
It seems the rest of Europe can get away with manipulation of the rules to suit themselves and for their benefit whilst we just accept whats thrown at us and just throw more taxpayers money to exacerbate the problems we have long ago made for ourselves.

Yes. As I've said many times I was brought up in a pub. The pub is still in the family. I meet a variety of people on a regular basis as my job usually involves going into the pub 2 or 3 times a week. It's a town centre pub.....

My neighbours are Polish...all very lovely.

I can only think that you mean Muslims are trying to dilute our culture?

I would hardly suggest they choose to sleep rough. They cannot handle the stress they suffered in the services. PTSS. They get little support and councelling and invariably turn to alcohol. Hardly a lifestyle choice for them!!
