“BAZWILLRUN if this country has such a poor outlook, why do you not emigrate?”
I’d better make sure I’ve got this straight: Millions of people are decamping from Middle Eastern and Third World cesspits because they are very unpleasant and they would prefer to live in Europe. Many of them end up here in the UK. The result is that many parts of the UK are transformed and now resemble the Middle Eastern and Third World cesspits they left. Baz is none too fond of it here (as many are not), not because of the way it was, but because of the way it now is, having been transformed by mass, virtually uncontrolled immigration which was permitted without their agreement. The solution you put forward, Corby, is for Baz to decamp.
If you examine the “net” migration figures you will see that last year it was around 335,000. But hidden (probably purposely) behind this is another even more disturbing fact. Immigration to the UK stood at over 635,000. In essence 300,000 people left the UK (probably taking up your suggestion that those unhappy with it here should leave). It probably comes as no surprise that the majority of those leaving were in the high earning or high wealth category (most other countries outside the EU won’t take them unless they are) whilst the majority of those arriving are unskilled, low earners of low wealth. Your suggestion seems to accept that it is quite OK for the population of the UK to be swapped in this way and the fact that it will accelerate the country’s decline into a Third World cesspit is of little consequence.
I find it incredible that a person who witnesses the demise of his town or city, brought on by a massive influx of foreigners who (a) cannot be properly accommodated and (b) have standards considerably different (dare I be judgemental and say much lower) than his own is told the solution to “his problem” is to clear off. I’m not often lost for a word or two, Corby, but your solution to Baz's discomfortthat leaves me, for the moment anyway, somewhat speechless !!!
