Unfortunately it's very unusual for the bad guys to play ball therefore things happen that people will balk at, they are still doing the job. It both our job and our political leaders' jobs to protect them. There are always a few who will step out of line, they are few and far between.

If some of these Lawyers are similar to the ones I have spoken to then I believe they should also be reminded they are "not above the law".
Any one else had an ambulance chaser ringing you unsolicited and try to convince you that you were involved in a road collision and entitled to compensation on a no win no fee basis.?
Allegations of misconduct are vigourously investigated by the military Police.
I would expect these cases have suddenly been dropped because the lawyers,themselves,are under scrutiny and have to account for "apparent investigations into spurious claims". At least Cameron kept his promise to deal with this should there be abuses by the so called legal witch hunt.

As Royal Marine Sergeant Blackman was prosecuted,convicted and jailed for his alleged actions and an appeal has been lodged I fail to see that justice was not seen to be done.
