If they don't hurry up with the referendum, we won't need one.

I think you will find they are expelling those that fail the Asylum test, ie they are immigrants not asylum seekers.
Good on them, pity the rest of Europe doesnt take the same attitude, then perhaps we could start to help the few left that genuinely need help.
Dont expect it from the UK though, there is an army of scum 'ooman rights lawyers waiting to get rich courtesy of the tax payer.

Socialism prioritises the needs of society and all within it, in preference to allowing those in a position to do well for themselves do whatever achieves that, and the rest put up with what they are offered. Asylum seekers and immigrants are not part of your society; they are folk intending to be so. IMO there is nothing in socialism that requires open entry to folk outside of one's society. This planet is not a single country with a single agreement on what is important and how things are done. That said those attracted to the political system may be more inclined to ensure everyone is well treated, but not without working out the right solution to help others. It's not a left/right issue.

Malmo resembles a vast transit camp. Swedes who work in Denmark have suffered enormous delays because border controls have had to be reinstated. Private property is being compulsorily taken over to house the incomers. The country is also facing a financial crisis as their generosity costs a fortune. The country now spends about $4-billion a year on settling new refugees – up from $1-billion a few years ago,
The Swedish people deserve better. They should have insisted their government scale back their ridiculous dogma of welcoming all and sundry. But I doubt they had much choice. Questioning the consensus has for long been regarded as xenophobic and hateful. Thus you reap what you sow. And the Swedes are now reaping the fruit of their crops bigtime.

The (far) right wing party, in Sweden, have come from nowhere to be the largest party. Only some 'dodgy' dealings have kept them out of power. Is this an attempt to 'take the wind from their sails', perhaps?
A bit like Cameron 'giving' us this referendum after years of ridiculing UKIP for their anti-EU stance.
