I think Philippo Grandi's fatuous statement at the end of the article, "We should remember Einstein was a refugee", takes some beating, bearing in mind that the majority of the sub-Saharan Africans are illiterate, have aids, syphilis and scabies.

Yes I do, I refer to a letter from a Czech nurse having worked in a hospital in Berlin. It is in fact much worse than that which I have quoted. She, other nurses and Doctors have been attacked, spat on and abused continuously but are not supposed to broadcast the fact.

She says how she wants now to return to Czechoslovakia, a country with a more sensible immigration policy.
