To answer your question. We all know the valuable and brave roles already played by female medics on the front line.
If the men are happy for them along side with a very heavy medic pack then I see no
difference,if they are fit enough , to carry an SA80 and full marching order.
The only problem that always crops up is "distraction".

Another VERY big pitfall of course is the "ism". Whilst feminists have been fighting for equality and anti sexism what happens when a female is told,"Sorry. You are binned. You have failed to meet the requirements of the annual fitness test or you are a liability and dangerous with a firearm" etc.
Will we have queues of ambulance chasers waiting outside the Army Training Centre at Pirbright waiting for tearful females leaving the gates asking for compensayshun.
I am afraid it happens in various Fire brigades where females have refused to lift heavy ladders or climb on step ladders to clean fire appliances (Brighton and Hove Fire Station)etc. When they were retained and put in an administration role they still caused mischief at Industrial tribunals so some thought should go into this very deeply.

Just two examples of mischief when women want to change the status quo because the demands don't meet their requirements!!!
