Osbo's Bro A 'bad Boy'
Once again Dr Adam Mohammed Osborne, psychiatrist brother of Chancellor George, has again appeared before the General Medical Council.
He had admitted an 'inappropriate' relationship with a vulnerable patient who had been under his care, a GMC disciplinary panel has heard. He's not been far from controversy over the years and could possibly be struck off. Do you think he should be suspended and then allowed to continue practising?

He should be dealt with in precisely the same way as any other medic facing these allegations. Having a better known brother is neither here nor there....

and where does it say in the Koran ( holy book ) that you can bonk your vulnerable patients ?
it doesnt actually
first they (GMC) hve to prove their allegations to a civil level of on balance of probability
and then step 2 ( well someone did ask ) they have to ask if the practitioners ability to practise is impaired....
and only then if they answer is yes
they decide what to do in line with their own guidelines
they can strike off
or they can suspend
or they can direct practice under conditions
I mean the question boils down to - should the GMC stick to their well worn rules when dealing with siblings of cabinet ministers ?
YES
