Ukraine entry for this years contest is directed at Russia...
Songs with political connotations are not permitted but this doesn't stop political voting does it?

I remember the obnoxious Dima Bilan, whose victory probably was the tipping point that finally drove Wogan away.
Hilariously, many Russians complained about Ukrainian Verka Serduchka's entry "Dancing Lasha Tumbai" which they claimed contained the words "Russia goodbye"
I do remember how Portugal coordinated its revolution by the timing of its eurovision entry on the night,, or rather how it then commemorated it with Madrugada (April dawn) the following year.

actually I think it is OK
and also it lets me rap on AGAIN about the betrayal of Yalta ( Zacs - oh not her again - no one knows who she is)
Yalta was the meeting where Churchill betrayed and gave away the rights of the eastern europeans to one Josef Stalin
All the German POWs were convicted of war crimes and did 10 y hard labour. The poles who had fought hard for King George ( not note Churchill) were sentenced to 50 y communisim - the one million hifi ( willing helpers - they were russian and joined the German armed forces oops wrong decision but it seemed right at the time ) were corralled into Gulags and none came out
so yeah - Oh Ukraine -- see the Long Starvation of 1922 - singing about it seems OK to me

Well said Peter : we won't beat Outin by singing at him - that money is still needed for the ATO . But we can have fun doing it.
The Eurovusion bigwigs may not see it that way
Yalta is a sad place now
Did you know Putin plans to refund Russians who holiday there ?! They can't go to Turkey or Evypt now so they may have no choice
