Yes the “intelligence” displayed by these master criminals knows no bounds. Unfortunately because of their automatic release at the halfway stage and the “Home Detention Curfew” early release scheme, they will serve just nine months.

I came across a case a week or two ago where two scroats had stolen an expensive push bike. They had filmed themselves cutting through the padlock and finally one was filmed riding it away. They then posted the entire thing on U-Tube or Facebook or something. Not only that, they had titled their posting “How we stole a bike from under [the owner’s] nose! Absolutely priceless!

^^ How about the case of a Plumber who burgled a house, while doing the robbery he noticed that the plumbing needed work. So he left his business card in the hope of picking up some work !

I always thought it was spelled "scrotes" (as in scrotums). Not often seen in print. Or I'm not reading the kind of books that would use it.
