I went to Sweden about 15 years ago on business. The local work colleague took me for a walk round the town we were in, and in one square I saw about 50 Asian mean sitting around chatting to each other.

Obviously Asian men stand out somewhat in Sweden (most of the population are white and blonde of course).

I asked him why they were here and he said Volvo had found it hard to get car workers so had brought them over to Sweden a few years earlier.

But then they were no longer need by Volvo so were made redundant, and now nobody else in Sweden would give them a job, so the country were stuck with these unemployed Asians that nobody wanted.

There is a long term danger in taking so many people from outside your country and the EU may well suffer in years to come by the reckless behaviour of our politicians.
'may well suffer' VHG ? I think it's a foregone conclusion ....
///But then they were no longer need by Volvo so were made redundant, and now nobody else in Sweden would give them a job, so the country were stuck with these unemployed Asians that nobody wanted.///

And not a little inconvenient for the Asian men, I would imagine!

Instead of those in power sitting around polished tables divvying out the growing numbers of refugees amongst themselves, they would do well to listen to their own citizens.

Would it be too early to mention "We told you so?"
It is not only Sweden that is in crisis over migration, the whole of Europe is.
AOG > It is not only Sweden that is in crisis over migration, the whole of Europe is.

Yes, of course it looks very benevolent when countries take large swathes of migrants and have a jibe at other nations for not doing enough. Doesn't look very clever though when they then cry 'we can't cope' or admit that they have no idea where a million or more have gone a la Deutschland....
As you are rightly pointing out, the far right are gaining momentum.

This can only end in tears but the left wing right-on brigade just dont get they are fueling the fr right to a dangerous level.

Just be thankful Corbyn is not PM at the moment. Or we would be sinking under the weight of every Mohammed, Abduhl and Harry in the World.
Sweden has only itself to blame.

Long before the current "crisis" Sweden welcomed all comers in ridiculously high numbers (relevant to its population) and any opposition to this policy was howled down as racist. Now the solids have hit the air conditioning their policies have left them in dire straits.

You reap what you sow. Much of Europe is reaping the rewards of the EU's ludicrous policies. Its ideological claptrap, which saw the welfare and wellbeing of illegal immigrants put before that of its own citizens, has succeeded in turning much of the continent into a vast transit camp for the dispossessed. The Swedes are suffering more than most because they have welcomed everybody and anybody for the last 25 years. And that's their fault.
NJ - Do you have the same criticism of Turkey? Being next to Syria, do you think Turkey's cause is greater and should expect more assistance?
No. There is no reason why European nations should pay to patrol and enforce Turkey's borders. That's a matter for them.

The EU should concentrate on enforcing its own borders - particularly the maritime one between Turkey and Greece - but also any other which sees widespread breaches.
Thanks NJ, I understand.
