I saw a photograph somewhere of him before he (doppelganger) disappeared. Bit like I was Monty's Double (Clifton James). There was speculation that the doppelganger was summoned to the bunker shortly before Hitler's reported death??

Sqad...the aspect of your story that I think gives it away as plausible fiction, is the extreme difficulty that Hitler would have had living anywhere after the end of the War.
He was, arguably, the most famous man in the world, and it would have been next to impossible for him to have survived for very long without exposure.
Lots of Nazis did escape to places like South America of course, Eichmann being perhaps the most famous, But I still think that the testimony of Heinz Linge is the correct one.
