Our £55m a day contribution (much of which goes to fund the Common Agricultural Policy, principle beneficiaries French Farmers) must make us rather popular with our "friends" across Le Channel.
On a personal level - all the French people we know and have known, want us to stay, because we get on very well and they believe we share aims. We do in many ways, but not in the sovereignty one and a couple of others. They, and we, feel that we are family. This may not be the result in a national poll, however.
