Some might say that the mutant, Mr Trump is a bully, a blowhard and, if the moves he made at the podium when nothing really happened behind him are anything to go by, a bit of a big girl's blouse.
We may yet see him wet or otherwise soil himself in the near future.

He's simply a populist, will spout any nonsense as long as it gets the crowd going. One trusts enough of the American public will note the flaws and either abstain or opt for the alternative.

Trump does somehow become increasingly appealing as a non-establishment candidate.

We don't have a great deal to worry about when he gets elected - the US prez is very tied down aside from executive orders and foreign policy.

He's rubbed the Right up the wrong way by leapfrogging the career politician queue - are they going to court him in power? The Republicans hold the senate/congress currently - he might even work better under a Democrat senate!
