Katie Hopkins has just had an 11 hour brain operation. We should keep this in mind when criticising her utterances over the next few weeks. In the same way that someone who has broken their leg, should not necessarily be the person we turn to, to compete in a trampolining contest, Ms Hopkins should be left alone for a while, at least until we are sure she has fully recovered.
