I'm afraid Tony sold off the last of his credibility about a decade ago. However, you need to actually read what he said. He did not say it's the liberals' fault at all. You've made the mistake of assuming the headline is the meat of the story. It's not here, it's an interpretation.

‘If you don't give a solution, and you leave people with a choice between what I would call a bit of flabby liberalism and the hardline, they'll take the hardline I'm afraid.’

Ohh that's alright then just forget it, and look for another disingenuous figurehead. His equally crooked wife has just been exposed as the recipient of £200k embezzled in the Maldives. Funny how the leftie right on libs are forgiving and forgetful when it causes a stink at their very exclusive Isslington get togethers, where the boast of how inclusive a mind set they have, whilst ensuring that they themselves go untouched by the mayhem caused by their vanity projects and I know what's good for you attitudes. Tell you what though, they can remember(or invent) the tiniest most obscure detail or minutiae when it comes to say Mrs Thatcher. They cant always be so far wrong accidently, so it must be deliberate, the undermining of Britain and our way of life.
