Apparently, this trial has been going on for 8 years ! His trial has lasted longer than his offences....how can that happen ?

If I recall correctly he, at first, refused to recognise the court and then started to pull sickies!! Unfit to plead etc. It was a long time ago. I could be wrong. :-)

Yes, you are right Naomi, and scum like Karadzic, Ratko Mladić , and others have made a mockery of the process. It quite simply shouldn't have taken 8 years to come to the conclusion that Karadzic was guilty of war crimes, in a war that only lasted 4 years.
