Get Out Of Europe

For those of you that are voting to get out of Europe in the upcoming referendum...... When you receive the 'Stay In' propoganda leaflet that Cameron spent £9 million on, don't open it, mark it 'Return To Sender' and pop it in a post box ..... you can even add your own comment on the envelope lol!!

The point is that taxpayers money (including mine - staunchly 'out') is being used, willy-nilly, for the 'Remain' leaflet, Eddie. Leave campaigns are funding themselves through donations from incomes on which tax has been paid. I would rather that £9 million was spent on Libraries or hospitals - or mending the potholes in the roads.

I haven't had my pamphlet yet but I'm assuming it will be delivered by the postman to every house, effectively unaddressed ie, just a plain envelope, if any. The only way to get it back to Downing St will be to put it in an enveope, write the address on it and stick it in a postbox. The postman will ask for underpayment at delivery time, hence the cost to the public purse.
As I pointed out earlier, £9,000,000 represents about 34p per household. Since postage is about double that and underpaid costs about double that, if half the households receiving the pamphlet return it to Downing St, the cost to the exchequer will be around £18,000,000. Don't believe for a minute that addressing it to D Cameron will result in him paying the cost; any letters addressed to him will be filtered out long before they get anywhere near him.
It's very strange that the so called hypocritical stupid Government goes all out to save money, screw the General public, rob the Disabled, rob the pensioners, reduce the Police Forces/ Army, Our Navy & our security, our UK Boarder force, then waste public money on something that will back fire with their scaremongering, whatever you think of IDS, Boris, & a few others that can see the truth, and that the EU has passed it's sell by date, does D.C. think we are all stupid?
I sense a sea-change through this. Perhaps 'The Secret People' are about to speak. Poem by G.K. Chesterton, worth a read. Can't remember the exact quote, but on the lines of 'We are the people of England and we have not spoken yet'.
The petition is now about 190,000 and still going (to anyone interested). I don't bet as a rule (not even on the Grand National) but I think I will treat myself to a small flutter next week. :) fingers crossed.
