In Cameron's case, the main difference is that his Dad set up the unit trust company.
"PM has some unit trusts" - not much of a story.
"PM benefits from father's offshore company" - great story for the terminally disaffected.
If Cameron really wanted to benefit from offshore dealings, he probably would have followed his father's career path rather than become PM ...
